American national found dead on sail boat

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the death of Malcolm Michael Junker,70, who was found dead on his sailboat off the coast of Dangriga in Southern Belize.

According to police, they were informed by the Belize Coast Guard that a white sailboat with the name “Breezy One” was found off the coast of Dangriga, and inside the vessel was an American national who was found motionless.

Police were able to identify the person because they found his passport inside the boat.

Police say that there were no physical injuries observed in his body.

His body was transported to Belize City where a post mortem examination is currently being conducted. According to police, the body was in an early stage of decomposition.
