Dangriga mechanic shot this morning

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred this morning in Dangriga.

Around 4:50 am, authorities were called to the Southern Regional Hospital where they met, Darrel Smith, a mechanic of Rivas Estate, Dangriga with apparent gunshot wound injuries to the upper left leg.

Investigation revealed that Smith was near a bar when he got into an argument with an unknown man.

The man took out a hand gun and shot Smith.

 Smith is admitted in a stable condition.

Police investigation continues.
