Hot day, little wind expected

By BBN Staff: The weather forecast, prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize, says that today is going to be hot with little wind.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight. Showers will be isolated this morning, then a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop over inland areas at first, then over the north and coast Friday night.

Today’s temperature will be 91 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 98 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 88 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 77 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Wind direction will be variable, blowing between 1-5 Knots and the sea state is slight.

There will be a high tide at 9:41 a.m. and a low tide at 4:22 p.m. The sun will set at 6:07 p.m. and the moon will set at 6:43 p.m.
