Police investigating a shooting that injured a man in Maya Beach

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Monday night in the Maya Beach Community.

Police report indicates that Salvadoran watchman, Jose Santos Gomez was on duty working at A&L Hardware when 2 men arrived.

One of the men pulled out a gun and fired several shots at Gomez hitting him.

An investigation is on going.
