Cayo man detained for rape investigation

By BBN Staff: Authorities have detained one man from the Cayo district after a 24-year old woman reported that this morning, she was with him in a village when she was raped.

The man invited the woman to his home where he grabbed her by the neck, dragged her to a bed and had sexual intercourse with her against her will.

Police have since detained the man pending investigations.
