Shoot out reportedly erupts during Christmas Parade

By BBN Staff:  Reports to BBN’s newsdesk indicate there was a shooting moments ago near Roger’s Stadium in Belize city as hundreds of onlookers took to the street to view Love FM’s annual Christmas parade.

According to witnesses, there was an altercation which involved bottles and other objects being thrown. Several shots were reportedly fired.

It is currently unclear if anyone was injured. Police were seen quickly in the area.

Multiple people have reported hearing the shots and running in fear from the scene.
