Police seek one man in Stann Creek shooting

By BBN Staff: Police are looking for one man in connection with a shooting incident that happened in Stann Creek this morning.

Anthony Parks, 37, was shot four times around 6:45 a.m. Parks was reportedly on his veranda along with his common-law wife and a friend when someone called out to him. He went to see who it was and recognized someone he knew, with whom he reportedly has an ongoing problem. That person reportedly pulled out a gun and fired several shots causing his injuries.

Parks was taken to the Independence Polyclinic and later transferred to the Southern Regional Hospital (SRH) in critical condition.

Police investigations are ongoing.
