By BBN Staff: Sometime around 10 o’clock on Friday night a man was shot in Belize City.

He was identified as Shaquille Perrera, 20.

He was near the corner of Seagull Street and North Creek when a vehicle drove beside him and an occupant opened fire.

Initially, he was listed in critical condition but police say he is now in a stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Perrera has come in contact with the law several times and is considered an associate of the Supal Street Gang.
