One dead in road traffic accident on the Humming Bird Highway this morning

By BBN Staff: One man, identified as Jose Quinonez, has been confirmed dead in a road traffic accident that happened on the Hummingbird Highway this morning.

Reports are that a delivery truck, which is owned by local import company German Vega Imports, suffered a blowout and crashed into another truck in the opposite direction in the vicinity of Armenia Village.

Footage given to us of the crash site shows that the crashed truck flipped in the incident. The driver’s body was still pinned inside the vehicle when authorities arrived on the scene, while the road is covered in the wares that the truck was carrying. Two occupants in the other vehicle received only minor injuries, according to reports.

Drivers traveling the road this morning are asked to exercise caution.
