Single-room house burns in Lake Independence

By Aaron Humes: An abandoned single-room wooden structure caught fire this morning in Belize City.

Police and fire personnel are on the scene in the Gungulung area of Lake Independence.

The owner has reportedly said he was not living in the structure at the time and it was only partially furnished.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
