Home destroyed by fire in Dangriga

By BBN Staff: A home was destroyed by fire early this morning in Dangriga while another was partially burnt.

Around 2:00 a.m. today, authorities were called to the ‘Back a Town’ area in Dangriga where they saw a building completely engulfed in flames. Another wooden building had also been partially damaged as the flames spread.

The fire-fighters on the scene rescued an elderly woman from the other building. No injuries were reported.

An investigation into what caused the fire is ongoing.
