By BBN Staff: Today is the fifth consecutive day with no new case of COVID-19 confirmed in Belize.

The country currently has 18 confirmed case of the virus and has registered two patient deaths.

The Office of the Director of Health Services noted that the enhanced surveillance efforts continue across the country.

The Ministry of Health reminds the public that social/ physical distancing remains in effect as officials go about establishing new norms in routines.

The Ministry thanks all the staff that continues to work through the weekend.
