Nestor Mendez sworn in for 2nd term as OAS Assistant Secretary General

And on July 14, Mendez officially re-assumed office as his 2^nd term for the OAS Assistant Secretary-Ggeneral.

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States is hosting a virtual special meeting to swear in the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States, Ambassador Nestor Mendez for the 2020-2025 period.

The post of Assistant Secretary-General is the second-highest office in the OAS and holds senior responsibilities in that hemispheric organization.
