Ministry of Health: 67 new positive cases identified

By BBN Staff:  The Ministry of Health issued a statement a short while ago saying that they have identified 67 new positive cases of COVID-19.
 
The preliminary breakdown is as follows:
 
Corozal District : 1 (Patchakan)
 
Orange Walk District: 50 (10 Orange Walk Town, 26 San Felipe, 1 Trinidad, 1 San Jose, 1 San Jose Palmar, 2 August Pine Ridge, 3 Blue Creek, 1 San Lázaro, 3 Trial Farm, 1 Guinea Grass, 1 from Belize City)
 
Belize District: 10 (5 San Pedro, 4 Caye Caulker, 1 Ladyville)
 
Cayo District: 6 (6 Belmopan)
 
According to the Ministry of Health, they have recovered 15 cases.
 
The release from the Ministry of Health ended by saying that, “We acknowledge all the support we continue to get but have to continue to reiterate that we require further community engagement if we are to flatten any curve as the numbers in some communities continue to increase.”
