Ministry of Health: Orange Walk leads in confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Belize

By BBN Staff: Data from the Ministry of Health indicates that up to date, there have been 1,635 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Belize.

There are now 647 active cases of the virus across the country.

Of the active cases, 293 are females and 354 are males.

The breakdown of confirmed cases by districts are as follows:

Orange Walk- 567

Belize- 306

Cayo- 227

San Pedro- 292 ( listed separately for data purposes)

Corozal- 182

Stann Creek- 50

Toledo-11

The Ministry of Health urges the public to adhere to all safety protocols and take all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
