Over 1,100 people recover from COVID-19 in Belize

By BBN Staff: While the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise in Belize, so does the number of people who have managed to recover from the virus.

The latest data from the Ministry of Health (MOH) shows that at a total of 1,165 Belizeans have managed to recover from COVID-19.

The ministry’s data shows that the split between the recoveries is 534 females and 631 males.

The total number of confirmed cases in Belize stands at 1,825, giving the country a recovery rate of 63.83 percent.

There are currently 636 active cases and another 98 cases under investigation.
