By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that generally fair weather is expected today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop around the country today, but will increase over the southern districts tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 05-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.
High tide came in at 5:36 a.m. and low tide will begin at 1:01 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:32 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 2:27 a.m.
