Over 1,500 cases of COVID-19 still active in Belize

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) says that, despite over 8,000 reported recoveries, there are still over 1,500 active cases of COVID-19 in Belize.

The Ministry’s official daily report for today, Sunday, December 20, 2020, says that the total number of active cases stands at 1,579.

Of the active cases, 757 of them are females and 822 are males.

Apart from the active cases, the Ministry has an additional 802 suspected cases countrywide.
