NGO’s, Chamber feed frontline workers

By Aaron Humes: There was some pre-Christmas appreciation from the Belize Network of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) (BNN) and the Belize Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) for the staff of the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).

300 shift personnel were treated to lunch and refreshment as a ‘thank you’ for their service to the nation. “To all our frontline heroes: Thank You! We will forever be in your debt,” the organizations said on social media.

The organizations added, “We can all help by abiding with the health and safety rules, including wear your facemasks, maintain 6-feet distance from others, and sanitize or wash your hands regularly. Also, stay at home if you are infected or suspected to be infected with SARS-CoV-2.”
