Cabinet approves formation of new committee to review plans for re-opening of Corozal Free Zone

By BBN Staff: On Tuesday, the Cabinet met and approved the formation of an inter-ministerial committee including Michel Chebat, Minister of Health and Wellness; Jose Abelardo Mai, Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise; Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries; and Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations.

 

The committee will review plans and protocols for the reopening of the Corozal Free Zone.

 

A leaked letter to investors this week informed that the Free Zone is scheduled to re-open on February 1, 2021.
