Ministry of Health and Wellness confirms 28 more COVID-19 cases

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has reported 28 newly-confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The MOHW’s latest national update says that the new cases were confirmed from a sample batch of 398 tests.

The new cases had a split of 16 females and 12 males.

Belize’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 11,750 and the positivity rate has dropped to 19.8.

Of the national total for confirmed cases, 389 are still active.

The MOHW also has 208 suspected cases of COVID-19 under investigation.
