COVID-19 update: Twenty-nine new cases confirmed

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) says it has confirmed 29 new cases of COVID-19.

The new cases were confirmed from a sample batch of 467 tests.

The latest cases were split between 16 females and 13 males.

Belize’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 11,845 and the positivity rate has dropped to 19.6.

The MOHW said that there are still 274 active cases and another 184 suspected cases under investigation.
