Only four patients hospitalized due to COVID-19

By BBN Staff: Belize is very close to not having any patients hospitalized due to COVID-19, according to new data published by the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

Only four patients are currently hospitalized due to the virus, with two patients receiving critical care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The low hospitalization count forms a part of the MOHW’s daily report which showed the second-best day for infections for this year so far (9 in a single day).

Meanwhile, another 23 patients have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the national total for recoveries up to 11,532, and the recovery rate up to 95.5.
