Toledo farmer ambushed and stabbed, two minors detained

By BBN Staff: Police have detained two teenage boys ages 14 and 16, in connection with a stabbing incident in Toledo last night.

Police say that Hedardo Choc was walking home alone on the main street in San Marcos Village when two minors attacked him.

Choc put up a struggle but was stabbed twice to the abdomen during the exchange. He was taken to the Punta Gorda Hospital for treatment.

When officers approached the two minors, one of them was found to have a pocket knife on him.

They were detained in the presence of their father.
