Belize Defense Force officer served notice of intended prosecution for fatal traffic accident

By BBN Staff: A Belize Defense Force officer has been served with a notice of intended prosecution for an accident that happened last night and claimed the life of Chester Requena.

According to police reports, Benedict Sabal was driving on the George Price Highway heading to Belize City when around 2.5 miles, he hit Requena who was walking on the highway.

Requena died shortly after.

Police investigations continue.
