Belize Weather: Rain to affect country irregularly entering holiday Monday

Relatively moist and unstable conditions prevail, supporting cloudy skies at times and a few showers and isolated thunderstorms countrywide, but especially inland and in the south.

High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees inland and 77 in the hills. Tonight, it will be 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 73 inland and 66 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is choppy.

Tides will be low at 1:59 PM this afternoon and high at 8:12 PM tonight. The Sun sets at 20 minutes past six this evening and rises at 5:18 a.m. Monday morning.

Commonwealth Monday will see a few showers and isolated thunderstorms around the country but especially the south.
