Four charged for possession of crack cocaine in Corozal

By Aaron Humes: Four people including a senior citizen were arrested and charged after a drug bust on Friday in Corozal Town, Corozal District.

Police recovered 2,193 grams (about 4.8 pounds) of suspected crack cocaine at the residence of 70-year-old Angelina Maria Gomez.

Gomez and three others all of Corozal Town, Idelfonso Gomez, 41-year-old, Belizean laborer; Miriam Oliva, 45-year-old, Belizean Domestic; and Miguel Oliva, 23-year-old, Belizean unemployed, were arrested and charged for the offense of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
