Breaking: Fire in Hattieville blankets area in smoke

By Benjamin Flowers: Residents in the Tropical Park area of Hattiville are calling on authorities to assist them urgently, as a fire in the vicinity has the entire area covered in smoke.

Residents say that the fire is caused by someone deliberately buring something, but the fire has spread and is posing a health hazard to those in the area.

Residents tell BBN that they have tried to get in touch with the Belize National Fire Service, but have been unsuccessful.
