Belizean Rights and Justice Movement challenges “vaccine mandate”

Posted: Monday, July 12, 2021. 12:45 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: A new organization has sprung up as a formal opposition to what they call an “experimental shot” which they feel should be voluntary and not mandatory.

Leader and former Mayor of Belize City Zenaida Moya said that they feel very strongly that no one should be forced to take the experimental shot, which she distinguishes from a vaccine in the sense that it has not been fully tested and cleared for formal use. (It should be noted that none of the established vaccines are cleared for more than emergency use).

Former political candidate Elizabeth Dena claims the group has grown to 300 members and will be “the effect” as long as there is a cause.

The group’s slogan is “My Body, My Choice, No Testing, No Experimental Shot – We Do Not Consent,” which effectively summarizes the group’s position on the vaccine.

Moya did note that some group members have in fact taken the jab, but do not insist that everyone does.
