Belize Weather: Rain will go away, soon

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service says weather conditions are expected to improve in the coming hours, but today’s forecast is for mostly cloudy skies this morning with most areas affected by showers and thunderstorms. Later, shower activity will be isolated and tonight skies will be clear with cloudy spells and showers and thunderstorms mostly limited to the south.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees inland, and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight, it will be 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 74 degrees inland, and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots and gusty; sea state is moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for occasional gusty winds and rough seas, especially during heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Tides will be high at 12:37 this afternoon and low at 7:43 this evening. Sunset is at exactly half-past six, and sunrise Thursday morning is at 5:26.

Expect generally fair weather with isolated showers on Thursday.
