Belize City adds 85 new cases in daily COVID-19 report

By Aaron Humes: The Old Capital continues to outpace the rest of the country for COVID-19 cases.

85 new cases were reported in Belize City alone of a total of 113 and another eight in San Pedro Town, which is counted separately.

Orange Walk Town also continues to be an area of concern with ten new cases of 24 in the district. Corozal District saw seven new cases, Cayo District 30 but no more than four at most per village, Stann Creek, 3, and Toledo,15, including six in Punta Gorda.

Overall, 17,967 total cases have been recorded of which 16,143 have recovered.
