Murder victim in Belize City identified as James Wilfred Gordon

By Aaron Humes: One James Wilfred Gordon was murdered this evening in Belize City but on the Northside rather than Southside.

According to police, Gordon, 49, of Santa Barbara Street, had gone to collect money from someone on Meighan Avenue when he was ambushed by two men on a bicycle.

The men shot him in the body and fled; it is not clear if police suspect robbery as a possible motive. Their investigations continue.
