Two hospitalized after latest shooting

By Aaron Humes: Rudolph Gladden, 32, and Michael Henry, 17, are the latest on the list of casualties on a suddenly violent Sunday evening.

Henry, Gladden, and two others were accompanying Akeem Baptist to Belize City from Hattieville after 5:30 this evening.

Police say that as the Ford Fusion driven by Baptist entered the Chetumal Street roundabout and crossed over the pedestrian walk in front of Puma gas station, someone came out of the back passenger door of an SUV traveling behind them.

This person ran behind their vehicle and opened fire, injuring Gladden and Henry. Gladden is stable but Henry is in critical condition.

Police are investigating.
