Prime Minister says “ending corruption is not a slogan,” talks reforms across Government services

By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister John Briceño has announced a Constitutional Commission to be appointed by the end of October.

It will hear suggestions for reforms to that most important document over the next year and report to the Ministry of the Public Service and Constitutional and Political Reform.

A new program will provide targeted interventions to four Government high schools and trial the “Free Education” policy laid out in #planbelize, Briceño said.

Recent legislation will digitize Government and make it easier to do business in Belize, and reforms of land policy and starter homes for the less privileged are being built across the country and some community homes in Belize City are being repaired, he added.
