By Aaron Humes: On the strength of more than 27 thousand persons vaccinated on Tuesday, Belize has passed 200 thousand persons partially vaccinated and more than 155 thousand fully vaccinated.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ figures say 26,929 persons between 12 and 17 were vaccinated along with 1,910 persons over 18.
This pushes the number of persons with at least one dose of vaccine to 202,219.
The number of fully vaccinated persons is now 155,625.
Minors can only take the Pfizer vaccine while others including AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, and Johnson and Johnson are also being used.
Belizeans are reminded to get their second doses if vaccinated for as much as two months (shorter if you took the Pfizer vaccine).
If you haven’t taken any at all, make your appointment at the Ministry website.
