Caring Hands Antigen Test Center’s new location in Placencia expands options for convenient COVID-19 testing

By Benjamin Flowers: Caring Hands Antigen Test Center has opened an additional testing site in Placencia, giving more options for convenient and reliable COVID-19 testing.

The new testing center, located at the entrance of the Tipsy Tuna, offers the same quality testing using the Abbott test kits which are approved by the US Food and Drug Administration FDA and are compliant with the Center For Disease Control (CDC) standards.

The new branch also opens an hour earlier, testing from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but does not replace the previous Placencia testing site, which still operates next to the Maya Island Air terminal. Caring Hands also said that the new Placencia location is also preparing to offer additional offerings to better serve the community, which will include medical consultation, a pharmacy, physical therapy, and laboratory services.

To book an appointment for a COVID-19 test simply call 501 678-TEST. The standard 671-TEST can also be used for bookings.
