Belize Weather: Uptick in rain but otherwise fine day

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells today, though a few brief showers will affect most areas. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight with decreased showers activity in isolated areas.

High temperatures are 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s temperatures reach 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots and the sea state is choppy.

Tides will be below this morning at 8:43 and tonight at 8:01 and high at 2:54 this afternoon. The sun will set at 5:18 this morning and rise Friday morning at 6:11.

Friday sees partly cloudy skies with a few showers mostly over the south, then fair weather and isolated showers on Friday night.
