BWS postpones planned water interruption in Punta Gorda

By BBN Staff: Belize Water Services (BWS) said on Tuesday that it had to postpone a planned water interruption in Punta Gorda.

BWS had announced on Monday it would interrupt the water supply “to repair a broken water main on Tuesday, January 4, 2021”.

However, on Tuesday, BWS said the interruption had “been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances”.

The interruption which had been scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. would have affected the Punta Gorda Downtown B area and would have closed vehicular traffic on Jose Maria Nunez Street, from Prince Street to Clement Street.
