Belize Weather: Conditions to dry out

The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies today and cloudy spells tonight as relatively moist conditions are expected to improve by later.

A few showers and periods of rain will occur mostly offshore and in central and coastal areas then over the southern coast tonight.

High temperatures today are 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 inland and 74 in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 68 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 66 degrees inland and 60 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northwest at five to 15 knots with light chop seas.

Tides will be low at 7:05 this morning and 8:39 this evening and high at 1:41 this afternoon. The sun sets at 10 minutes to six this evening and rises at 6:23 Monday morning.

Mainly fair weather prevails on Monday with isolated showers only.
