Kursha Pollard – proud to represent Belize today against El Salvador in Women’s FIFFA World Cup qualifier

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: National team defender Kursha Pollard said she is proud to represent Belize today against El Salvador in the Women’s FIFA World Cup qualifying game.

“We are proud to be here, and we are proud to represent you guys,” said Pollard in a promotional live stream done by the Football Federation of Belize’s Communications and Marketing Director Yashmin Juan.

“I just want to tell all our Belizeans back at home to send us positive messages, cheer us on, no matter what the outcomes,” said Pollard who is one of the more veteran players on the team.

Belize plays against El Salvador on Wednesday at 3:30 pm at the Cuscatlán Stadium in San Salvador. The match is both countries first qualifying match on the road to the 2023 FIFA World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.
