The shooting at Tulsa medical center was 20th in the U.S. since the attack at Robb Elementary

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The United States of America has recorded 20 mass shootings in just over a week after the massacre of 19 students and 2 teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

The U.S. Gun Violence Archive (GVA) reports show that 20 mass shootings have happened since Uvalde. The GVA defines a mass shooting as a single incident where four or more people, not including the gunman, are either shot or killed.

On Wednesday, a gunman carrying a rifle and handgun killed 4 people at a medical center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The latest in a series of deadly mass shootings across the U.S.A.

Over the memorial weekend, Chicago reported 32 gunfire incidents where 47 people were shot and 9 died.

There have been 27 school shootings in the U.S. this year leaving educators and parents fearing for the lives of their children daily.

U.S. President, Joe Biden has implored Congress to take action against gun violence as the country continues to reel from mass shootings.
