Teenage construction worker stabbed by older man in Caye Caulker

By Aaron Humes: Police are searching for a 40-year-old man from Caye Caulker after an argument escalated to a stabbing incident on Thursday night.

19-year-old Rafael Marin of Bahia Puesta Del Sol, Caye Caulker, was found in front of the China Town Supermarket on Avenida Langosta with a stab wound to the right side of the abdomen.

He and the older man had been involved in a dispute in a yard next to the Supermarket when he was stabbed and fell down in the street. After initial treatment at the Caye Caulker Health Center, he is at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City in critical but stable condition.

Police investigation and the hunt for the suspected attacker continues.
