International News: 14 people including Ukrainian minister killed in helicopter crash

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, 14 people including Ukraine’s interior minister and a child died in a helicopter crash near Kyiv, Reuters report.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said it is a “terrible tragedy”.

The crashed caused a fire and the portion of a building of a local nursery was consumed by the fire.

Authorities are still investigating what caused the crash.

Officials confirmed that Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi had been killed along with his first deputy, Yevheniy Yenin, and the ministry’s state secretary.

Twenty five people including 11 other children on the ground were also injured.
