Tourism Ministers of Belize and Venezuela meet in Spain

By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministers with responsibility for tourism for Belize and Venezuela got together for a meeting in Spain today.

Venezuela’s Ali Padron and Belize’s Antony Mahler were both in Spain for the International Tourism Fair and decided to hold a fraternal meeting.

A briefing from the Venezuelan Embassy in Belize said that the ministers discussed “cooperation in tourism, the promotion of both destinations, and the possibility of developing joint projects.”

The Ministers also agreed to deepen bilateral relations between the two countries.

Padron and Mahler met in compliance with agreements made between Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and Prime Minister John Briceño.
