Bomb expert called in to Belmopan Comprehensive after early morning bomb threat

By Benjamin Flowers: Authorities are currently standing by at the Belmopan Comprehensive High School awaiting the arrival of a bomb expert after a bomb threat was called at the school this morning.

Reports are that just before 8:00 a.m. Police had to cordon off the area in the vicinity of the school for public safety, rerouting vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

The area is still under alert and those in Belmopan City are encouraged to keep clear of the school in the meantime.
