By Breaking Belize News Staff: As a warm, dry and gusty airflow continues to dominate our weather, the National Meteorological Service forecast calls for mostly sunny skies today and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight with no rainfall expected.
High temperatures reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees over inland areas and 86 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees along the coast; 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds will be easterly to southeasterly at 15 to 25 knots with higher gusts, becoming easterly at 10 to 20 knots. Seas start out rough before becoming moderate. A small craft warning presently remains in effect for strong winds and rough seas, which will be downgraded to a caution tonight.
Tides are low as of 7:59 this morning. A high tide occurs at 2:17 this afternoon followed by a low tide at 10:48 this evening. The sun sets at five minutes past six this evening, rising at 10 minutes to six Wednesday morning.
Continued fair and mostly dry conditions prevail on Wednesday.
