Belize Tourism Board sends well wishes to recovering Police Communications Director, Fitzroy Yearwood

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) has publicly sent well wishes to the Belize Police Department’s Communications Director Assistant Superintendent of Police ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, as he recovered from a stroke.

The BTB issued a statement this morning saying, “On behalf of Hon. Anthony Mahler and the Belize Tourism Board, we take this opportunity to wish the Director of Communications for the Belize Police Department, ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, a speedy and full recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with ASP Yearwood and his family at this time.”

ASP Yearwood reportedly suffered a stroke between Saturday, April 8 and Sunday April 9, and was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

Albert Division Area Representative, Tracy Taegar Panton also took to social media over the weekend to offer her support and called for prayers for Yearwood and his family at this time.
