All drone operators must obtain a permit

Drones have become increasingly popular for recreational and commercial use however the public is urged to ensure safety and security measures are in place.

Drones must be registered with the Belize Department of Civil Aviation and operators must have obtained a required permit.

Drone operators must also familiarize themselves with the rules and regulations for drone flying in their community.

Drones should be in your line of sight and avoid flying near airports, military bases, and other restricted areas.

And always remember to respect the privacy of others while flying your drone.
