Belize Tourism Board donates $25,000 to state-of-the-art basketball court for Edward P. Yorke High School

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On May 31, 2023, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) donated $25,000 to Edward P. Yorke High School to help build a state-of-the-art basketball court.

This contribution will significantly assist with the development of basketball as a key extracurricular activity that the school takes immense pride in.

The new and upgraded court will provide the students of E. P. Yorke with an exceptional sporting facility, fostering their skills and passion for basketball.

“We would like to express our gratitude to RF and G and other donors for their valuable contributions to this project. Together, we are dedicated to promoting sports and education,” the BTB said.
