Young Belizean artists join efforts with San Ignacio Police sharing inspirational messages

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Two talented Belizean artists, Kenly Young and Eyanney Myvette joined efforts with the Domestic Violence Unit of the San Ignacio Police formation to share inspirational messages to families and victims of domestic violence.

Twenty-year-old Young is currently pursuing her Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Florida.

Eyanney is a 12-year-old honor roll student who is pursuing her high school education at Sacred Heart College.

Both young artists shared their inspirational paintings telling victims that love shouldn’t hurt.

They believe their painting may inspire battered families suffering from domestic abuse.

The artists also expressed appreciation to the services being offered to assist children.

Officer commanding San Ignacio police, Cesar Franco and Cpl. Tracey Stephens of the Domestic Violence Unit extended gratitude to the 2 young artists for their wonderful contribution to the Unit and extended well wishes in their future endevors.
